Job Description

IPEX Inc. designs and manufactures one of the world's most diverse lines of integrated thermoplastic piping systems--pipe, valves, fittings, auxiliary components and tools--all engineered from the ground up to handle the full range of today's municipal, industrial, commercial and residential applications.

We are currently looking for a Red Seal Millwright to work in our Langley plant. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. We have a day shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or 12 hour day shifts from 7am-7pm on a 2x2-3x3 rotation.

Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of machine shop industrial machinery and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Complete and maintain maintenance forms, records and log books of the equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, air, and hydraulic systems related to our equipment.
• Isolate and identify causes of malfunctions on production equipment.
• Keep maintenance shop area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Red Seal Millwright certificate and a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience on related repair, maintenance and installation of equipment pertinent to a production shop environment.
• A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail is a must.
• Strong organizational and communication skills that include the ability to read, comprehend ideas, information, complete reports and forms.
• Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
• Availability to work non-scheduled overtime for major breakdowns.
