Purpose of the Role
As a Laminating Technician, you will play a vital role in producing high‑quality composite components for current and future Formula 1 cars. Working to maintain high standards and tight deadlines, your expertise will directly contribute to on‑track performance and the success of the team.
What You’ll Do
Manufacture composite laminated components for current and future F1 cars.
Carry out laminating, vacuum bagging, and mould preparation activities.
Manufacture, maintain, and prepare moulds to required standards.
Operate autoclaves and follow prescribed production processes.
Work safely at all times, adhering to health, safety, and quality standards.
Flexibly support other teams and activities as workloads require.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as a skilled composite laminator.
Background in motorsport, ideally F1, or experience in aerospace manufacturing is desirable.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
Proactive and self‑motivated approach, with the ability to spot issues and suggest solutions.
Clear and effective communication skills, ensuring accuracy.

McLaren Racing Composites (MRC) is based at the McLaren Racing Composites Facility in Woking Business Park. This is a new state-of-the-art production centre with the latest in CNC machines and autoclave technology, an open plan office, gym and quiet room. The site is situated on the canal for easy walking and cycling commutes as well as local amenities within walking distance.
