POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is in charge of configurating the lamination machine and feed a foil laminated front sheet to match it to the back paper sheet, This operator ensures that registration, alignment and quality standards are being met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Being able to feed a thin plastic sheet individually and efficiently to the machine
• Guarantee that the material coming out of the machine is clean and according to quality standards.
• Check the material for problems or abnormalities and report them to their lead supervisor
• Ability to work as a part of a team.
• Basic machine comprehension will be necessary

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Knowledge of machine operational procedures.
• Filling out paperwork and reports.
• Being able to differentiate different types of materials used.
• Being able to look efficiently for blemishes or abnormalities on the material.
• Inspect and adjust machine as necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Being able to stand up for long periods of time
• Being able to carry up to 40lbs
• Sharp Vision
• Bending down from time to time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Being able to read and write.
• Being able to follow instructions.
• Mechanical skills preferred.

Education/Experience:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills/Experience:

• 0-3 yrs Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating manufacturing machinery.
