
Will develop, implement, and educate patients, families, & staff on proper breast-feeding techniques and lactation, in conjunction with the RN Lactation Nurses, Providers, to promote family centered care. Position serves as a clinical expert, consultant, education leader and liaison between the patient/ family, provider, staff. This person will help grow the exclusive breastfeeding rates through telehealth, education, awareness and networking. The position provides research and evidenced based care to lactation consultants to drive breastfeeding success and improve the health of mother and baby both on an inpatient and outpatient basis, as well as communities at large. Position actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision, values and guiding principles of CentraCare. Patients cared for include childbearing women and newborn infants. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
Schedule:
Pay based on experience and degree
Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $37.27 per hour
Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $38.56 per hour
Master’s in nursing starting at $39.84 per hour
Pay range: $37.27-62.18 per hour
