You as a Labourer, Shop will:

  • Assist with servicing construction and hoisting equipment, including disassembly, lubrication, basic repairs, and reassembly as directed.
  • Prepare trucks and materials for deliveries using supplied pick lists and job documentation.
  • Unload incoming trucks and complete required receiving paperwork accurately.
  • Hand stack materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory and material storage areas.
  • Support inventory tracking and paperwork management related to receiving, staging, and job preparation.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for scheduled hoist projects and site deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard, ensuring areas are free from hazards.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude; previous mechanical or shop experience is considered an asset.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in a construction or industrial shop environment.
  • Experience servicing equipment involving disassembly, lubrication, and reassembly is considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage inventory and associated paperwork accurately.
  • Have or be willing to acquire forklift certification.
  • Have or be willing to acquire telehandler certification for various capacities.
  • Valid G driver’s license.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and pick lists accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Available to work overtime as required, including early mornings and evenings.

The hourly rate for this role is $23.00-$27.00 CAD
