Due to internal progression, we're looking for a Labourer to support the delivery of planned Solar PV installations across our customers' homes. Working as part of our Operational team, you'll help install solar panels and mounting systems, undertake roofing-related works, and assist with the installation of renewable energy solutions that help customers reduce their environmental impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with labouring, roofing, or construction experience who is looking to develop their skills within the fast-growing renewable energy sector within housing.
Location: Norwich and surrounding
Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent + company van
supporting the installation of Solar PV panels and associated mounting systems.
assisting with roof preparation, repairs, weatherproofing, and related roofing activities.
supporting the installation of battery storage systems and high heat retention systems.
carrying out a range of multi-skilled tasks to ensure successful project completion.
working safely and following all health and safety procedures, particularly when working at height.
maintaining clean, safe, and tidy working environments for customers and colleagues.
accurately recording work completed and managing materials using company systems.
collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship.
experience in labouring, roofing, construction, or a similar operational environment.
experience of, or exposure to, Solar PV installation and mounting systems.
ability to interpret plans and drawings and apply them in practical settings.
strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
good understanding of health and safety requirements, especially working at height.
basic IT skills, including using systems to record work and order materials.
ability to manage workload and complete tasks within agreed timescales.
full UK driving licence.
pride in maintaining quality standards and safe working practices.
