The Details:

• Permanent Full Time - multiple positions available | 9 day fortnight
• $71,020 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 3)
• 76 hour fortnight
• Location: Narangba

As a Labourer within our Parks team, you’ll work closely with a Crew Leader to deliver a wide range of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks that support the smooth and effective delivery of parks projects and ongoing maintenance services.

You’ll get hands on with tasks like mowing, brush cutting, hedging, pruning and weeding, as well as horticultural project work such as tree planting, streetscape enhancements, mulching, fertiliser application, soil analysis and more.

Your work will directly contribute to keeping our parks and open green spaces looking great and welcoming for the community.

About you

You’ll bring practical experience in labouring tasks related to horticultural and grounds maintenance. You’re confident working outdoors, comfortable operating machinery, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and presentation across our green spaces.

You’ll also have:

• The knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
• recent experience in a manual or outdoor labouring role
• strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Medium Rigid (MR) class truck licence or above
• Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
