GFL Environmental’s skilled team members can handle all industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks ranging from the routine to the complex. We have a full complement of water-jet, GamaJet, steam and pressure-wash trucks to clean equipment, buildings, underground pipelines and storage tanks. Our experienced personnel have the right equipment to access confined spaces and work in hazardous environments in order to get the job done safely and efficiently
The day to day responsibilities of this role will include: environmental and safety monitoring at our site, Specialized industrial cleaning, unloading trucks, operating forklift, truck and power washers, and administrative duties as required. This will be a Full-Time employment opportunity.GFL is looking for a full-time General Labourer to help support our operations in Brantford, ON. Your primary responsibility as a General Labourer will be to perform physical and manual tasks at a variety of Industrial job sites in Canada. This position reports the ER & Industrial Site Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labourer tasks including but not limited to: degreasing, pressure washing, hydro blasting, tank cleaning, setting up and tearing down equipment
• Utilize a variety of tools and machines such as power drills, sprayers, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment
• Be capable of participating in all work related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner
• Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers, vendors, both on and off the job
• Work efficiently to meet or exceed our productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards

Knowledge, Skills and Key Competencies:

• Previous experience working on industrial job sites is considered a definite asset
• A minimum “G” license is preferred
