Job Description

Clean Harbors , Ste-Catherine, QC is looking for a ( Laborer/ operator) Material Processing Technician to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for helping in operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems. In this role you will be required to travel to other provinces dependent on the project being worked on.

***This role is seasonal: Spring to Autumne. Start early spring to end of November.

  • Work Schedule: 12 hr days /7 days /week when on site -
  • Schedule: 20/10 20 days on then 10 days off; schedule dependent on project

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner;

  • Assists with the operation of centrifuges and electric dredges;

  • Evaluates the process and complete the installation of equipment;

  • Performs general duties required to complete work, such as: debris removal and clean up;

  • Completes all required paperwork.

  • Willing to travel away from home dependent on the project (frequent travel)

  • Class 5 Driver’s License;

  • Class 1 drivers license: Classe 1FM – an asset

  • Previous dredging/dewatering experience (an asset);

  • Bilingual – English and French
