Reports To: Production Manager

Direct Reports: None

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Position Overview: Operating machinery, assembling products, and performing various tasks to ensure the efficient production of goods in a manufacturing environment. This role involves following safety protocols, maintaining quality standards, and working as part of a team to meet production goals.

Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities that must be completed

• Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process, including light industrial sewing, rivet machines, and clicker presses.
• Perform setup and adjustments of machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Assemble products or parts according to established guidelines and specifications. Ability to read and use a tape measure to ensure specifications are met.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Job Functions: Other responsibilities not required to successfully do job

• Other tasks and duties, as deemed necessary by the Production Manager.

Training: Provided on the job.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is preferred, but not required.

Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Reliability and punctuality.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Capability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with constant background noise.
