Job Description

• Assist with the installation of sealants, valves, conduit, and tubing
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Ensures the safe and proper use of tools and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrates capacity to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision, consistently delivers high-quality results, and effectively manages tasks and responsibilities
• Knowledgeable in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure accurately

Education and Experience

• A High School diploma
• A minimum of 2 or more years of previous construction experience is a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the project Superintendent

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular work in and around active construction sites with moving machinery and fixed equipment. Work is often performed outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and cold. Noise levels can be high due to operating equipment and site activity.

• Heavy physical effort is required for frequent lifting or moving of materials
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. using proper body mechanics
• Repetitive lifting of up to 40 lbs. over 10 to 20 minute intervals without fatigue
• Constant physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and physical stamina
• Ability to work in confined spaces as necessary
• Must be capable of walking on uneven terrain and active project sites regularly
