What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform general plant labour duties safely and efficiently while supporting overall site operations
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across the site, including cleanup of work areas, equipment, conveyors, and stockpiles
  • Assist plant operators and maintenance personnel, including loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and supplies
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, using PPE and safety equipment correctly at all times
  • Identify, report, and help correct unsafe conditions, and perform other duties as assigned

What Are We Looking For

  • Previous experience in an industrial, aggregates, cement, or construction environment, with familiarity working around heavy equipment and mobile machinery
  • Ability to safely perform physical tasks in a fast paced work environment
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliable work practices
  • Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and equipment
  • Consistent attendance with the ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with team members

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
