Maryland Environmental Service has openings for two Laborer positions at The Midshore II Regional Landfill. We are hiring for one full-time position at the Landfill and one part-time position at our Caroline County Homeowner Drop-off.
These positions provide general maintenance support for operations and construction activities at assigned facilities.

The part-time Homeowner Drop-off schedule is as follows:

Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The full-time position at the Landfill schedule is as follows:

Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m. With possible Saturday's as needed.

Estimated Pay Range:

$ 39,351.31 - $ 54,106.09

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED OR completion of eighth grade plus one year of warehouse, production, building maintenance, janitorial or other general work experience. Position may require a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

This position is eligible for on-spot, contingent offers. Candidates who apply after an on-spot offer has been extended (including internal candidates) will not be considered unless the candidate who receives the on-spot, contingent offer does not complete the process to become an MES employee.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
