The City of Jersey City (“the City”) is seeking a Laborer for the Department of Recreation & Youth Development, Division of Park Maintenance. This position is responsible for performing various types of manual and unskilled labor and may occasionally require driving a truck in connection with assigned duties.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience: One year of experience in performing labor manual and unskilled labor work preferred.
Required License: Possession of a valid New Jersey Driver’s license.
Preferred License: New Jersey Commercial Driver’s License is preferred
This is a Civil Service Job and you must eventually pass and qualify for the applicable Civil Service title.
