Industry: Precision Engineering Manufacturer
Location: West
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Basic + Allowances + AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory specific methods on materials or finished products, media making, special projects or specified testing as directed
• Reagent/media preparation, sample collection and identification, sample testing and reporting result
• Assist in the tracking, maintaining, and ordering of lab consumable and supplies
• Perform routine lab maintenance, including but not limited to lab cleaning & sanitization , lab environmental monitoring and lab equipment maintenance
• Read and complete documentation of work through data recording and / or electronic note booking
• Generate lab test report
• Assist in application of routine/non-routine lab test methods (e.g. Challenge tests, Method Validation) as per documented instructions or procedures
• Participates in quality control, problem solving, continuous quality improvement activities and assist Molecular/Microbiologist in any abnormality investigation
• Any other duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering Science, Chemical process, Food Science, Biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel/Words)
• Basic lab knowledge/experience in food/pharmaceutical/medical device/diagnostic device Knowledge/experience in microbiology/Molecular laboratory is an added advantage
• Observed GMP, Independent, good initiative and able to multi-task in fast paced, dynamic environment
