Position of Laboratory Technician - Extraction Team Available!
The Opportunity
AsureQuality is looking for a laboratory technician to join the Extraction team. The role involves testing a wide range of matrices for Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines.
This is a fabulous opportunity for people to start and deepen their career in chemistry through receipt and handling of samples and performing a range of extraction techniques. Full training is provided on the job, including quality compliance with ISO 17025 and safety measures to ensure the job is done reliably and safely according to the WorkSafe Act 2015.
The Wellington AsureQuality laboratory is a fast-paced work environment requiring collaboration and teamwork. Our ideal candidates will have great attention to detail, communication skills, with previous experience in a similar quality controlled working environment being a plus.
The opportunity is for a full time contract working in the Extraction team, with potential to deepen your knowledge in other areas of the lab further on. If you’re passionate about science, keen to expand your skills in a commercial laboratory setting and motivated to contribute to the safety of food for New Zealanders and global communities, we encourage you to apply!
