Intertek, a leading international provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) services, is looking for a Chemical Analyst to join the Caleb Brett Business Line, which specializes in analysis and inspections in the petrochemical sector. Under direct supervision and with a view to training and professional growth, the candidate will perform chemical and physical analyses on petroleum products, biofuels, and other soil and subsoil products, using instruments of varying complexity and ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of laboratory activities.

Requirements

What you will do:

· Perform chemical and physical analyses in accordance with the methods and regulations applicable to petroleum products and biofuels (ASTM, ISO, and UOP).

· Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established schedules.

· Prepare reagents and solutions in accordance with operating procedures and methods applicable to petroleum products and biofuels.

· Keep quality system documentation, control charts, and laboratory materials inventory up to date.

· Properly manage samples, from receipt to storage and disposal, in accordance with safety and traceability procedures.

· Help maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the laboratory environment.

· Participate in training and cross-training programs to expand technical and operational skills.

What we are looking for:

Diploma or degree in chemistry or related disciplines.

3 years of previous experience, in chemical analysis laboratories, preferably in the petrochemical or industrial sector.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Accuracy, reliability, team spirit, and attention to safety complete the profile.
