We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated lab specialist to join our dynamic System Integration & Verification BGE (Blood Gas & Electrolytes) Team, located in Rotkreuz. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robust performance verification of new BGE products, which is highly critical for market launch.
As part of our dynamic BGE team, you will focus on four critical pillars of product verification:
Analytical Performance Verification: Designing and executing complex test protocols, analyzing data, identifying system issues, and ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards.
Reference Analytics: Developing, validating, and maintaining accurate reference methods to serve as performance benchmarks.
Technical Submission Documentation: Preparing precise technical documentation and reports for regulatory submissions.
Development Testing: Hands-on testing of early-stage development lots and prototype systems.
Study Execution & Documentation: Meticulously plan, execute, and report on verification and development studies. Document all findings thoroughly using electronic lab notebooks (eLN).
Sample Preparation & Biochemistry: Prepare, contrive, and manipulate whole blood samples to achieve target analyte concentrations for testing.
Equipment Management and Ordering: Support equipment qualification and ordering of chemicals and consumables.
Safety & Compliance: Work safely and routinely with potentially infectious human blood samples in accordance with biosafety guidelines.

You are a highly experienced professional with a passion for the field of in-vitro diagnostics.
Education: Degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
Industry Experience: Proven experience in the In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or medical device industry, specifically in system integration, verification, or validation.
Practical Lab Skills: Hands-on experience with blood biochemistry, pipetting, and preparing contrived whole-blood samples.
Documentation Standards: Familiarity working under regulated environments and documenting work in electronic lab notebooks.
Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German is a strong asset.
