Position SummaryStudent research assistant will be responsible for conducting laboratory tasks including isolating DNA from freshwater fish tissue samples, preparing reagents, conducting PCR, DNA sequencing and other routine lab tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications

• Seeking a degree in Biology
• Able to work 15-20 hours a week
• Interest in conservation biology/genetics
• Able to work independently once trained
• High level of motivation
• Ability to keep and maintain accurate laboratory records
• Laboratory experience is preferred but not essential
