Job Description

This 12-week program will train the candidate in GLP/GCP/GMP regulations, lab skills, and professional skills. The candidate and internship program manager will assign an area for the candidate to continue work in through the course of the program. At the end of the program the candidate will present their work in front of their peers, scientist, and site managers as available.

Responsibilities and Duties

Corporate

• Enter data into databases

• Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures

• Maintain confidential information

General

• Interact with the community and employees

• Support andparticipatein other company initiatives as directed by senior management

• Ability to use a computer to compile andmaintaindatabases for recordsutilizetheappropriate software

• Maintains quality and accuracy of one’s datato the highest standards

• Perform other duties as assigned

Specific

• Participate in Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness

• Display aworking knowledge and awareness of general laboratory procedures

• Display versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of which may be difficult and/or non-routine

• Displayattitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervision

• Prepare solutions for use in analysis

• Perform routine sample analysis

• Understand and followGMP/GLP/GCP regulations with the ability to apply these practices daily.

• Perform other duties as assigned

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
