Labcorp is seeking an onsite Laboratory Instrumentation Technician to join our brand new CMC facility and team in Mechelen, Belgium.

Job Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in science
1 or more years of experience as Laboratory technician or Laboratory Analyst
Preferred Qualifications
6 months are more experience in GMP environment
1 or more years of experience in equipment management and calibration
1 or more years of experience in HPLC, UPLC, ICE/Maurice, PA8000+
Additional Job Standards
Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project).
An in-depth understanding of health and safety policies, company policies and procedures, a working knowledge of ISO (accreditation and application) and an in depth understanding of GMP
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as external clients, suppliers, etc.
Knowledge and practice of general health & safety, including personal protective equipment.
Proficient in Dutch and English
This position holds on-call responsibilities
In the role as Laboratory Instrumentation Technician, you ensure GMP‑compliant management of all CMC equipment, including documentation, qualification, maintenance coordination, and vendor oversight. You act as primary equipment management team contact, supporting BioPharmCMC teams and ensuring adherence to all applicable GMP requirements and internal SOPs.
You are responsible for executing and maintaining equipment‑related quality records (e.g., deviations, change controls, CAPAs) and reviewing technical documents such as SOPs and qualification protocols.
You support operations by managing the equipment fleet as per the System Lifecycle (SLC) process. From onboarding new equipment, ongoing maintenance and retirements.
