
Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and performing specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer. Performs phlebotomy functions as well as various clerical tasks of routine and specialized nature utilizing knowledge. Cleans laboratory equipment and glassware. Assists technical staff by performing routine duties. Exposed to hazardous environments the course of the work day.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required Education: High School diploma or GED required. Prior medical experience preferred. Previous work experience strongly preferred.
