We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Laboratory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support daily laboratory operations by preparing specimens, organizing supplies, and ensuring all processes meet quality and accuracy standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare laboratory specimens and related supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of laboratory data
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall laboratory operations
Schedule & Requirements
• Standard work hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Required to work every 3rd weekend

• Excellent communication and teamwork skillsResponsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.
Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
