What you’ll be doing:

Hastings Deering is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Acacia Ridge on a 12-month fixed-term contract (full-time hours)

In this role, you will:

• Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises

• Unpack and sort samples

• Assign label numbers appropriately

• Register samples including data entry

• Card scanning

• Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance

• Dispose of samples

• Receive stock

• Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools and property

You will bring:

• Previous experience working in a laboratory, sample processing, or testing environment will be highly regarded.
