Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Laboratory Analyst at MSD Korea, you will partner with Sales, Customers, internal team to support. In this role, you will report to the ANA lab supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support related to lab services.
  • Process and manage lab samples, ensuring accurate documentation and timely analysis.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure the optimal condition of various analytical instruments utilized.
  • Perform quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Provide technical training, consulting, and on-site technical support for internal business partners and customers once they request.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the database.
  • Prepare detailed reports on lab activities, issues, and resolutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve lab service quality and efficiency.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 10 % of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Associate's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to analyze data and report findings accurately.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
  • Years of job-related work experience
    • Entry-level or early-career professionals (up to 2 years of experience)

Preferred Skills:

  • Essential basic knowledge or(and) experience on PCB, Semiconductor and General surface treatment process Related technical experience at PCB, Semiconductor, Surface treatment industries including plating technology.
  • English skills (available to communicate with global team)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and handling of laboratory equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of light to moderate weights.
  • Primarily laboratory-based with a high degree of concentration required for analytical tasks.
