Reporting Line
This position reports to the respective section’s Operations Executives and/or Junior Operations Executives.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs handling of samples from receiving, sample preparation, retention and disposal.
Specific Responsibilities
Operates and maintains equipment used in sample preparation from drying, crushing, screening, and pulverizing of samples.
Washes glassware and maintains the good housekeeping in the laboratory.
Ensures that work performed is in accordance with the SGS policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, Integrated Management System, and other standards to which SGS subscribes, and SGS OI Policies.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in contribution to departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
Profile
Must be at least Grade 10 or equivalent.
