
The Labor Relations Officer is responsible for the resolution of employee issues, HR communication, sta? satisfaction and other related HR initiatives. The role performs administrative functions in various personnel policies that a-ect people at work such as work conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, and absence management and grievance procedures to ensure e-ective service and encourage harmonious industrial relations in the organization.
Process, track and record employee movements such as separation, resignations, terminations in various conditions as advised by Labor Operations Manager.
Arrange tickets and exit permits from Head Office/Immigration and coordinating with camp managers or relevant managers for deportation of separated workers.
Prepare separation documents like resignation, termination for various reason, as per instruction by Operations Manager.
Process, track and record various types of leaves (Annual, Unpaid, Emergency and Sick Leaves) of Staff and Labors including their tickets and exit permits from Head Office and implement through Camps.
Prepare worker’s duty resumption related to Annual Leave, Emergency Leave, Sick Leave and arranging all the signatory
and information provided to Data Entry Operators for updating the system.
Confirm through Recruitment Department regarding New Arrivals, actual and accurate recording and reporting the same within Departments like, HR, Operations, Camps and PMV.
Process visa requirement like, Blood Group Test, Medical and Fingerprints in coordination with Head Office and Camps.
Update mastersheet for department records with information of Active Manpower, Leave, Separation and other additional required data on daily basis and distributing among colleagues for routine work.
Follow up with HR and Payroll Departments regarding Staff related HR issues.
Receives Employment Contracts for Employee’s Signature and dispatching to HR.
Process renewal of Worker’s RP, Passport and other related issues.
Coordinate with HR Department (Head Office) for urgent issues like passport undertaking, RP renewal and healthcard Renewal.
Prepare reimbursement documents like medical expense related to site accident cases.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
Knowledge in Qatar Law
Knowledge of implementation and maintenance of Policies and Procedures
Knowledge of the whole organization structure
Knowledge of employment terms and conditions
Knowledge in computer MS applications such as Excel and Word and other related software application
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
