Job Description

The Label Room Tech is responsible for receiving, stocking and picking label orders. This position will also provide backup to the Print Shop by monitoring and facilitating production and quality check processes of Print projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Process receiving paperwork to systematically receive labels
• Physically receive labels and stock shelves
• Pull labels required for Production work orders and deliver to production lines
• Cycle count and report label inventory
• Set up printers and print labels and run label printing press to produce labels
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines
• Able to perform assigned housekeeping activities

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of prior experience in Manufacturing environment

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Experience with Dynamics desirable.
• Working knowledge of various courier (FedEx) and postal regulations beneficial and preferable
• Must be able to professionally and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
• Must be able to deal with multiple peoples or tasks in a professional manner
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision or direction
• Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications at all times
• Detail oriented, organized and responsible

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical stamina sufficient to stand during entire shift, excluding rest breaks
• Physical stamina sufficient to move and lift approximately 50 lb. boxes/containers/large label rolls
• Physical stamina sufficient to perform such duties as organizing, cleaning, or maintenance of label and print shop equipment
• Fast paced, deadline oriented production
• Ability to move about the production facilities with no limitations
