Overview

LABEL ROOM OPERATIVE | NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED | CHICHESTER FOOD PARK | AMAZING BENEFITS

Join Nature’s Way Foods as a Label Room Operative and help keep production running smoothly by printing, checking and recording labels and sleeves. You’ll make sure the right items are ready on time, paperwork is accurate and the work area meets safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided, so you just need to be organised, confident and ready to learn.

The hours you’ll work:

You'll work night shifts only, with 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:00am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

With this rota, you'll enjoy every weekend off, giving you regular time to rest, recharge, and plan ahead.

What you’ll do:

• Print all labels and sleeves correctly and on time, following the daily plan.
• Record all labels and sleeves given to Machine Operators or Departmental Managers.
• Make sure all paperwork is complete and up to date.
• Prepare labels and sleeves for the next shift.
• Print extra labels and sleeves when needed, following the correct process and completing the paperwork.
• Record all returned and wasted labels and sleeves, following the correct process and completing the paperwork.
• Count the stock of all labels and sleeves every day.
• Keep the work area clean and follow GMP standards.

What we’re looking for from you:

• Friendly and confident when speaking to others, including questioning Machine Operators if labels are not being issued correctly.
• Basic computer skills are needed. Experience using Bar Tender printing software would be helpful.
• Experience using OAL would be helpful, but training will be provided.
• Knowledge of allergens would be helpful, but training will be provided.
• Able to work independently and stay organised in a busy workplace.
• Record every label and sleeve issued, returned or wasted, and make sure the paperwork is checked and signed.
