Job Description

To follow set procedures in the process of sanitation, making & packaging cheese and cream products in a safe manner to ensure the product meets quality specifications set by the company to fulfill customer specifications.  Provide administrative support for the Quality Control Department at La Vaquita - Houston, TX to include but not limited to, Quality Systems and other regulatory matters, as required.  Provide system administration for Document Management and Quality Reporting Systems.  Interface with the departments to facilitate the administration.  Provide technical support for program development, complaint tracking, data acquisition and data trending.  Provide Document Control oversight.
Qualifications
An Equal Opportunity Employer.  A minimum of High School Diploma or GED; Two year associate degree business college degree, Bachelor of Science or similar experience.  Ability to master newe computer applications.  Ability to operate and support proprietary company systems.  Ability to maintain and increase knowledge of job subject matter without prompting or direction.  Ability to collaboratively and effectively work with other co-workers from an array of professional disciplines, such as, scientific, research, complaince, quality assurance, business, regulatory and customers, both domestic and foreign.  Bilingual - English and Spanish.  Food safety and quality Training
