Job Description

Reports to: Laboratory Director or Assistant Laboratory Director

Primary Function: The Laboratory Technician has immediate responsibility for the quality and technical validity of laboratory work performed.

Specific Responsibilities:

1) Perform testing work as directed by Laboratory Management.

2) Contribute to maintaining and improving work quality by personal involvement in Divisional quality system.

3) Meet employment time commitments via shift work and related work requests.

Qualifications: Laboratory Technicians shall have a high school diploma and one or more of the following qualifications:

1) One more years of college education with records demonstrating an aptitude for math and science.

2) One reference testifying to good personal status and work and/or school history.

3) In-Person position.
