Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician for a Steel factory to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature.

You will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to a laboratory manager.

  • Job location is Jeddah, KSA.
    
    Job role:
  • Performing pre-analytical procedures
  • Sorting, allocating, and delivering specimens to work stations and loading onto laboratory instruments, as required
  • Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming specimens or solutions
  • Participating in basic quality control procedures and inventory management
  • Maintaining good record-keeping practices while adhering to quality and safety programs
  • Maintaining accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment
  • Performing routine inspections on laboratory equipment to determine when maintenance is required
  • Using relevant computer software programs to collect or input data and information
  • Expert in dealing with most lab instrument such as Gas Chromatography, Moisture Analyzer, pH, Conductivity, TDS, TSS, TOC, COD, Cl, Fe, X-Ray, FTIR, Density, Specific Gravity, Melt Index, Color Index. Experience in Gas Chromatography

    Quality Assurance Department, laboratory section,
    Gas Chromatography lab to analyze gases and liquid sample like hydrocarbons and water in GC instrument . Good control over the samples during plant startup or shutdown.

    1- MTBE,PP product analysis.

    2- Using many type of GC for analysis such as Agilent, Broker and SION and their troubleshooting.

    3- Most of the water analysis.

    4- Polymer physical and chemical analysis such as MVR, Melting point, Color, Contamination test and formaldehyde concentration.

    5- Work on Injection molding machine and Extruder in smooth and safe way also their troubleshooting
