Project: Assam Resilient Rural Bridge Program (ARRBP)
Location: Four Project Zones – Assam
Reporting To: Assistant Resident Engineer / Quality Control Engineer
Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI (Civil) / B.Sc. with relevant experience in construction material testing.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in material testing for bridge / road / infrastructure projects.
Experience in field and laboratory testing as per IRC, IS, and MoRTH specifications.
Conduct field and laboratory tests on construction materials such as cement, aggregates, sand, concrete, steel, and soil.
Perform tests including slump test, cube compressive strength test, sieve analysis, Proctor test, field density test, etc.
Ensure sampling, testing, and reporting are carried out as per approved QA/QC procedures.
Maintain proper records of test results and submit daily/weekly quality reports.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Monitor material quality at site and immediately report non-conformance.
Coordinate with site engineers and contractors for timely testing and approvals.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines during testing activities.
Knowledge of standard testing procedures and documentation.
Familiarity with quality control practices in bridge construction projects.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel & reporting formats).
Attention to detail and accuracy in testing & reporting.
