This position receives specimens from all sources and verifies that each specimen has proper collection and labeling. This position verifies that each test is received in the correct tube type. This position sorts all specimens and place them in the proper racks to be received. This position will load racks on the appropriate automation line to be received in and tested. This position will scan specimens into the EPIC system and re-label the specimens as needed. This position will enter order into EPIC through requisition entry for all outside institutions. This position will process add-on test. This position answers phone calls concerning results, faxing reports, specimen collection and ordering test. This position processes timed urine specimens. This position reconciles packing list. This position process Reference, VA and ACH specimens as needed. This position will process mail-in specimens. This position will scan requisitions received with labs from institutional accounts into EPIC. This positions schedule could change due to staffing issues with a two weeks notice. This position will perform other duties as assigned.
