Job Description

Supervise laboratory activities and product development to ensure compliance with the quality and safety standards established by the company, and contribute to business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise finished product testing in the laboratory to ensure product approval in accordance with the standards defined by the Company
  • Monitor laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with the required quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain laboratory supply stock to ensure availability of materials.
  • Supervise laboratory operating procedures to ensure compliance with the quality and HSEQ standards (including energy) established by the Company.
  • Comply with the safety measures required for laboratory work to ensure adherence to the applicable safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the certification and/or maintenance of the plant's management system.
  • Supervise and/or approve raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports.
  • Act as backup supervisor across different operational areas.
  • Prepare technical specifications for packaging and raw materials.
  • Request quotes and create purchase orders in Navision for laboratory supplies, technical services, and equipment.
  • Enter invoices into the Navision system.
  • Monitor chemical precursor stock and submit quarterly reports to RENPRE.

Knowledge skills and abilities

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 standards
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and Core Tools
  • Advanced English proficiency
