Lab Quality Auditor

Department: Production/Warehouse

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Fort Worth 2101

Reporting To: Alejandra Bacilio Ramirez

Compensation: $16.00 / hour


The Lab Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all laboratory operations comply with internal and external quality standards. This role involves conducting regular audits, reviewing laboratory processes, and verifying that all procedures adhere to regulatory requirements. Key duties include performing test procedures in the Reman testing lab during test failure validation processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and knowledge of regulatory standards. They should also have meticulous mindfulness, organizational skills, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively to drive continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits of laboratory processes, equipment, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards including validating test failures, and capturing and documenting findings utilizing parametric data, images and/or video.
  • Examine standard operating procedures (SOPs), test methods, and quality control documents to verify accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Detect and document any deviations from established protocols and regulatory requirements, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work with laboratory personnel to enhance processes, boost efficiency, and ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide training to laboratory staff when needed on quality assurance practices, requirements, and audit findings to foster a culture of continuous improvement, including identifying non-conforming devices and alerting a supervisor.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, summarizing findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all audits, findings, and corrective actions, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.

Job Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma

Experience:

  • Previous production and quality control experience in cellphone environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to use a PC and basic Microsoft knowledge.
  • Meticulous mindfulness and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive continuous quality improvement.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electronic mobile devices (phone, tablets, headsets, smart watches)

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment. May occasionally need to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
