· Effective oral and written communication skills with laboratory manager and other laboratory personnel.
· Electronic communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Effective organizational and managerial skills.
· Knowledge of current regulatory requirements for NYSDOH and The Joint Commission.
· Assess ongoing compliance monitoring within the requirements of the laboratory’s quality management system.
· High School Diploma.
· Progressive laboratory experience: phlebotomy, registration & specimen processing experience required.
· Experience with Mobilab & MEDITECH required.
· At least 5 years as a phlebotomist and 5 years of experience as a phlebotomy supervisor or supervisory role required.
· National certification preferred.
