Highlights:
The Laboratory, Team Lead shall provide technical expertise, decision making, and problem solving based on knowledge of Laboratory techniques, principles, instruments, and their relationships. This individual shall supervise Lab employees, assign tasks, and perform procedures accurately and efficiently. The Team Lead shall communicate effectively with Lab staff, Nurses, and Physicians. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical/medical laboratory science, or medical technology program that meets CLIA technical supervisor qualifications required. Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.
License / Certification
Active ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent certification required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to develop trust with leaders in the organizations.
Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
