Job Posting Title:
Lab Assistant I (Hourly)Provides support for students, staff, and faculty in our studios and MIDI Lab
of Duties and Tasks
Monitor student use of MIDI lab and studios
Organize, check-out, and check-in gear (microphones, amps, etc.)
Check students in and out of rooms, ensuring required tasks are completed
Repair and maintenance of cables, stands, etc.
Organizing and moving gear as needed
Basic cleaning (sweeping, dusting, wiping surfaces, etc.)
Weekends and evenings are required
Knowledge
Experience with our consoles and patchbays
Experience with Pro Tools and Ableton Live
Customer service techniques
Skills
Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Maintaining an established work schedule.
Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills.
Effectively using organizational and planning skills.
