We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Assistant – Chemistry to support laboratory activities, maintain equipment, and ensure the smooth functioning of the chemistry lab.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain organized laboratory equipment, keep the inventory of chemicals well-stocked and calibrated, clean the laboratory instruments regularly, and be ready for practical sessions.
Monitor and enforce proper usage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed in the lab
Maintain accurate records of laboratory experiments, equipment usages and document any damaged or malfunctioning equipment for repairs or replacement.
Assist teachers and students during experiments by providing guidance and technical support and demonstrate proper usage of lab equipment when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Prior 2 experience as a lab assistant or technician is preferred.
Strong understanding of basic chemistry concepts and laboratory techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing experiments.
Good communication and teamwork skills to assist students and teachers effectively.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
