Lab Analyst II-QC Analytical, Clinical Research (CRO) - Full-Time w/ benefits, Lenexa, Kansas (KS)

What You Will Do:

We are currently seeking a Lab Analyst II to join our diverse and dynamic analytical QC team. As a Lab Analyst II you will be responsible for conducting analytical QC testing utilizing HPLC. You will analyze complex data sets, interpret results, and collaborate with senior analysts and peers to achieve project goals. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our laboratory’s data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Routinely executing laboratory HPLC methods related to clinical studies, following GMP and GDP standards.
  • Performing other routine laboratory tests and analyses including but not limited to, FTIR, Endotoxin, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, Conductivity, Osmometer, liquid sampler, Disintegration, Visible inspection, and Appearance.
  • Participating in method development and validation, and qualification of compendial methods.
  • Assist in developing pharmaceutical formulations by testing various excipients, vehicles, etc.
  • Perform USP and EP test methods.
  • Responsible for inspection, release and destruction of production materials, components, and chemicals to manufacturing facility; including intermediates.
  • Responsible for sampling Raw Materials in an ISO Classified environment; including preparation and shipment of samples to the required laboratories.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing regular calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Supporting quality control activities by participating in the review and verification of test results and procedures.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant scientific operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills when executing logical problem solving and experimental strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field
  • 3+ years of GMP and QC experience
  • Hands on HPLC experience from a relevant environment
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
