About The Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with knowledge in Silverlake ATM and AS400 RPG to support the analysis and design to development, implementation, testing & support of the Silverlake core banking ATM systems. The candidate will be responsible for working with the business analysts to understand and assess the business requirements and to provide technical solutions. You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.

Provide L3 support for production issues on Silverlake Core Banking modules.

  • Handle problem management, including root cause analysis, permanent fixes, and preventive measures.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across core modules such as:

oBWCIF (Customer)

oRBK (Deposits)

oLoans

oCollateral

oNPL

oCash & Payments

oATM Services

  • Coordinate with L1/L2 support teams, business stakeholders, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
  • Develop code fixes and perform controlled deployments on the AS400 platform.
  • Document issue resolutions, update knowledge bases, and support audits or compliance reviews.
  • Ensure service-level commitments (SLAs) are met and system stability is maintained.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6–9 years of experience in Core Banking support and development.

Strong expertise in:
oRPG and COBOL programming on AS400
oDB2 database management and query optimization
oSilverlake Core Banking modules and data structures

  • Experience in production support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
