Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead L3 support activities for the Retail Network, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with MNCS to address L2 activities and provide assistance with partial L3 support.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to the development of network infrastructure plans.
• Assist with transitions, migrations, and upgrades as required, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Act as a point of contact for incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution for network-related issues.
• Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide on-call support as needed, being readily available to address urgent issues.
• Liaise with vendors and third-party providers for escalations and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement best practices and optimize network operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience working with Fortinet products, particularly Fortigate firewalls.
• Proven experience in a senior-level role providing L3 support for large-scale network environments.
• Proficiency in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Experience with incident response procedures and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to be on-call and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours.
• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
