
L2 PLC Engineer
The L2 PLC Engineer provides second-line technical support for industrial automation and control systems used in Toyota Automated Logistics (TAL). The role focuses on troubleshooting PLC-related incidents, maintaining system reliability, supporting production operations, and implementing approved changes to automation systems.
· Provide L2 support for PLC-controlled systems.
· Diagnose and resolve automation, controls, and communication issues.
· Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
· Perform PLC programming modifications and testing under change control procedures.
· Troubleshoot industrial networks, HMIs, SCADA systems, and field devices.
· Coordinate with TAL teams to minimize downtime.
· Maintain technical documentation, backups, and recovery procedures.
· Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
· Support upgrades, migrations, and automation projects.
What makes you a great fit?
· Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
· Experience with PLC platforms.
· Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems.
· Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or industrial automation environments.
· Knowledge of electrical control systems and instrumentation.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Preferred (no must) ITIL or service management experience.
· Preferred (no must) Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4400 to €5000 gross per month. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
