Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated L2 Identity & Access Back Office Engineer to join our global Identity Management team in Bucharest. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless identity services across the group, supporting thousands of users while contributing to the security and compliance of our Active Directory environment.
What You'll Do
- Handle and resolve Level 2 identity-related service requests and incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
- Manage, qualify, and escalate tickets through the ITSM tool while contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Administer Active Directory infrastructure including user accounts, security groups, GPOs, OUs, trust relationships, and DNS configuration.
- Monitor Domain Controller health and replication status, and participate in compliance remediation and AD security hardening activities.
- Execute identity lifecycle operations such as access provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews in line with security policies.
- Support basic operational tasks on AWS and Azure subscriptions related to identity infrastructure hosting.
- Maintain and update operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to ensure team continuity.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT back office, support, or infrastructure roles with a strong focus on Active Directory.
- Proven experience managing tickets and service requests in an L2 support environment using ServiceNow or equivalent.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting skills for AD administration and task automation.
- Working knowledge of identity protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM, with awareness of SAML and OAuth2.
- A rigorous, service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse international team.
