Job Purpose
This position performs various grades, tagging, and product assignment functions to achieve optimum product quality.

Job Responsibilities:
· Correctly tags bulk product containers as prescribed by dept./company policy.
· Monitors QA / Customer Codes
· Continuous communication with QA and Warehouse Depts and TLP’s of any unscheduled changes
· Monitors Tote Capping
· Completes General Sanitation Duties (cleaning area equipment during sanitation activities)
· Communicate variances and excessive tolerances to proper supervisory personnel
· Able to trouble shoot the roller system
· Able to manually feed/eject totes onto and off the scales
· Correctly verify/calibrate scales prior to starting up after every clean up
· Communicate with other departments when additional help needed
· Ability to set up the correct ticket printer for the computer and trouble shoot.
· Understands HMI panel operation pertaining to Tote roller system
· Performs and understand operational changes to tote fill stations on Factory Talk
· Makes tote weight adjustments and shaker weight duration adjustments on Factory Talk
· Turns in all tote logs at the end of every shift
· Reconciles shift report ensuring accuracy.
· Completes equipment checklist done and turns in every shift
· Provides feedback to team members of any issues with totes, pallets, or stickers on totes to be correct while in process.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Requirements
Education/ Certifications:
· High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, and/or three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Experience:
· Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).
· Ability to perform basic math functions, required.
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Physical Environment/Demands:
· Ability to lift up to 50pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
· Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature
· Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 12 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies
· Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
· Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
· Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
· Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
· May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products
· Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
