We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Level 1 Technician to join our Managed IT Services (MSP) team. You’ll provide remote and on-site technical support to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a seamless client experience. This role is ideal for proactive individuals with strong IT fundamentals, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities· Provide first-contact support for incoming requests via phone, email, and help desk portal.· Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using remote tools and hands-on fixes.· Perform routine updates, backups, and system monitoring.· Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.· Maintain clear, effective communication with clients.· Document client systems, configurations, and resolutions.· Implement and monitor security measures.· Assist with hardware/software installation and configuration.· Support operations and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or 2 years equivalent work experience.· Prior experience in an MSP or IT support environment preferred.· Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, server OS (Server 2016/2019/2022), and Microsoft 365.· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP/MCSA) are a plus.· Experience with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaRMM), ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask PSA), and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue).· Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).· Strong communication and customer service skills.· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
