W H A T W E N E E D 🙏🏻
We are looking for a talented Platform Engineerto join our Cloud Native team.
Working in the Cloud Native Team you will have a varied role, where you streamline Xenit's services, development and infrastructure, as well as participate (and lead) both internal & external projects/consulting assignments.

Examples of potential tasks:

• Design, build and maintain Kubernetes clusters at scale, both for Xenit’s in-house Kubernetes Service and within client environments
• Streamline customers' user journeys by leveraging platform engineering principles; such as internal developer platforms, automation and self-service
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment of containerized workloads using Azure DevOps or Github Actions, for example.
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux for automated, declarative deployments
• Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform or Bicep
• Guide development teams in best practices for containerizing and deploying applications
• Use observability tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry) to collect and analyze metrics, logs and traces for enabling data-driven tuning, debugging and performance optimization.

C O U L D Y O U B E A M A T C H ?
We believe our next Kubernetes Specialist has:

• At least 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes
• Demonstrated practical experience working within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including provisioning and managing resources such as AKS, Azure Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with CI/CD (both in GitHub and Azure DevOps) and GitOps (e.g. ArgoCD, Flux) and with IaC (e.g. Terraform)
• Troubleshooting skills across the full stack, from infrastructure and networking layers to Kubernetes workloads and application-level issue
• A passion for Open Source and its community - an interest in innovation, automation and learning new things in this ever evolving space.

It is a bonus if you have:
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable, multi-tenant, Kubernetes-based platforms
- Utilized GitOps for provisioning Cloud Infrastructure, using tools such as: Azure Service Operator or Crossplane
- Product road-mapping, a business mindset and/or skills in cost analysis
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CKA, CKAD)
- Contributed to the open source community through code, documentation or issue participation

We also believe that you are a person who:
- Acts on their own initiative, looks inward and takes responsibility for their work
- Has an interest in customer facing work, as well as product work. Skilled in providing consulting services and coming up with creative solutions
- Collaborates effectively with others and builds good relationships
- Can see the "bigger picture" - has business acumen and can consider all factors when providing solutions.
- Speaks both Swedish and English (this is preferable)
- Above all else, displays kindness and compassion in everything they do 💕
