Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, equipment, and kitchen surfaces. Responsible for putting away dishes, pots, and pans in an organized and sanitary manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the kitchen crew to maintain the highest quality and production of the operation.
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, and other dishware used in Banquets and the restaurant according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Places clean dinnerware, glassware, silverware and pot/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Completes assigned prep work duties as directed.
- Communicates continually with all banquet and restaurant staff.
- Keeps kitchen clean by sweeping and mopping floors.
- Always keep sanitation solution up to code standards
- Removes all rash and rubbish from kitchen and stairway.
- Performs all duties in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintains a teamwork attitude.
- Periodic cleaning projects
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Prior dishwashing experience helpful but not necessary.
