
Korean Bilingual Mechanical Engineer // TL // Queen Creek // AZ
We are seeking a highly motivated, entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our EV Battery Technology team. This role supports engineers and scientists developing EV battery systems utilizing automation, robotics, inspection systems, and data acquisition equipment. The Mechanical Engineer will support equipment reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, and industrial automation systems, while collaborating with engineering, production, and external partners to meet safety, quality, and operational performance goals.
This position requires fluency in both Korean and English to support cross-functional collaboration with Korean-speaking stakeholders and global teams.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production and laboratory equipment to ensure operational reliability, while documenting maintenance actions and tracking equipment performance
Assist with installation, setup, and continuous improvement of mechanical and electromechanical systems, supporting commissioning and production readiness
Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrade activities with engineering teams, production teams, and external vendors, including advanced diagnostics and repair efforts
Support industrial automation systems, including hardware, software, inspection systems, and network infrastructure, ensuring stable operation of industrial computers and control systems
Analyze operational data from data acquisition equipment to develop predictive maintenance models, identify performance trends, and proactively reduce equipment downtime
Apply operations research techniques, including linear programming and statistical modeling, to optimize industrial automation processes and maximize equipment efficiency and performance
Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Python, statistical software) to evaluate equipment performance trends, generate actionable insights for engineering teams, and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to track, analyze, and resolve root causes of mechanical and electromechanical system errors while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field.
0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or equipment support environments.
Understanding of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and production processes.
Exposure to automation systems, industrial controls, or robotics preferred.
Experience with Windows-based industrial systems and basic networking is a plus.
Korean and English bilingual proficiency required.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
